Simply Kilimanjaro

Simply Kilimanjaro began with two students, Dan and Charles, having just summited the world's highest freestanding mountain, Kilimanjaro in 2008. Two individuals passionate for both adventure and charity, they returned to the UK to start a travel company, hoping to share their incredible experiences with as many young people as they could.

Over the past decade, their dream has evolved dramatically, growing into a leading adventure travel provider, which has raised over £20 million for charity and sent over 12,000 people on life-changing experiences all over the world. Recently the company achieved the coveted status of Certified B Corporation - confirming their credentials of meeting the highest standards of social and environmental impact.

We were commissioned to work with the company to develop the new name and brand identity for a dedicated Kilimanjaro trekking experience - Simply Kilimanjaro. The right design direction had to focus on the inclusivity and flexibility of the organisation and raising the importance and awareness of the role of sustainability within the travel industry. It had to visually reflect their aims and passions. We felt it important that the identity and visual language captured the supportive, embracing nature of their work whilst showcasing their professional expert offering.
